Used this to apply teak oil to outdoor chairs. It has been recommended that the synthetic steel wool does not shed small pieces of iron which can cause rust stains outdoors. Furniture. Worked well and I started using it for waxing and furniture oil on all the furniture and cabinets in the house. It comes in small sheets that are a little big for applicators but can easily be cut with kitchen scissors. These are flat pads - like scouring pads, not spherical pads for regular steel wool - so they actually require less paraffin to saturate than regular steel wool - a plus. They are now part of my cleaning kit and I am sure I will find many uses for them.
