I wear New Balance men's hiking shoes size 8 (6E) or 8 1/2 (4E). I first ordered Keen sandals in size 9 Keen H2 but it was very difficult to get the sandals as the laces were fully stretched to fit my foot. The basis of the sandal was a comfortable fit. I sent these H2s back thinking the Hydro-M might fit a size 9 1/2. I couldn't even put the upper on my foot with the laces fully undressed. The toe pad would work in either sandal, the toe-only fork just doesn't work on me. The kinas appear to be well made, but they just don't match the roomy width or high waist. The return policy is great. No problem if you return a sandal and get a refund.
