You should think of that thing like a Mercedes.
This item is as worthy of a look as a Mercedes or a BMW among muscatel. Its German design has the same relationship to the more common French graters that these cars have to French cars. In other words, I find most other nutmeg graters, almost all French in origin or with French critical parts, very disappointing, while this one just grates nutmeg with no fuss. And they even put a lid on the bottom so you don't get grated nutmeg all over the place after using it (I used to put my old grater from a recycled glass in the lid).
