Ideal for cleaning, buffing and polishing vintage phones. Be careful with the speed of the buffing pad, too fast and you will melt the plastic. I ended up using a Harbor Freight felt buffing cone running at low speed in my drill to remove scratches from over 50 years of service with Novus #3, then #2. #1 was applied for the final clean and shine. My less damaged restorations only needed #1 for cleanliness and brilliance. When I checked out a few sites I frequent for old phone replacements, I noticed that the only product they sell for refurbishing plastic phones is Novus.
