Water is at room temperature, it will leak, so you need to protect the surface it's on. It's not easy to fill out either.

This heated/cooled humidifier is great value for money. The warm setting is nowhere near as warm as our old humidifier. It's more like room temperature. Also, it will definitely leak or condense. Never wear it on anything dear to you. He will destroy it with water! This isn't the best option for handling, refilling, and cleaning. It has a fixer, but it's a very faint odor that you can only smell by approaching it.
