Only after after I got this did I realize how it actually works. I was hoping to be able to thaw frozen bottles but it’s not the way this one works. It’s not one that heats water around a bottle. For this to work the drinking liquid actually has to make contact with the heating surface. The machine is turned upside down and screwed onto the bottle using the correct adapter. I had medela bottles and the adapter worked great ( narrow neck ). Once flipped over The liquid in the bottle then goes into the warmer. So the warmer must always be washed and the little dust cap always kept on. If you push the power button quick it will display the battery percentage. While it charges it has 3 little lights that go in sequence and then turn off once the battery is full. I heated refrigerated bottle from 68 to 98 in a couple minutes. The device is great in terms of build quality. Doesn’t fee cheap and light. It’s great to be able to take this anywhere and heat up a bottle really quick. I’m happy with it.
