Review on 🚽 DOMETIC 301097606 Portable Toilet: 5.0 Gallon, Gray - Convenient & Mobile Sanitation Solution by Brian Nicholas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Only suitable for babies

This item is small. No life-size adult can sit on it comfortably. It's like doing your job with a thimble. I was so disappointed. Before deciding to give up my black tank/conventional RV toilet, I bought the cheapest Camco model as an experiment to see how it would perform without a conventional RV toilet. I really enjoyed not having to deal with the hassle of finding a landfill, waiting for other vans, and dealing with smelly, tight-fitting bodywork. Camco fitted, but I wanted something bigger and prettier. The spout seemed to be a great feature too. With Camco, you just throw it away. I never found it particularly bothersome and I had no accidents. Judging by the description, Dometic is built better. What you don't see in the picture is that it is hard plastic. Not only is the seat ridiculously small, but it feels like you're sitting on the edge of a small mop bucket. It looks like it will break and the yoke that attaches the water tank to the holding tank seems to break easily. Another reason why I chose Dometic was the locking function. Another joke. It's a tiny clip that will likely come loose on the first hit. The Camco was just over $50 when I bought it a year ago. Dometic was almost three times as big. If you don't use it for potty training, don't waste your money. Thank goodness for Revain's return policy.
