I was looking for some super fuzzy socks to curl up in during the cold months. I knew there were nonskid treads on them, but they turned out to be a bug, not a feature. You can feel the treads on the inside of the socks on the bottoms of your feet - not just like a puffy sticker when you're putting weight on them, but actually the friction bits on the fabric. I wanted super-soft, so this wasn't perfect. If there weren't treads, they would be more slippery, sure, but a lot softer all over. I tried wearing them outside some super thin socks, and it works better. However, they also shed a lot of fluff - even the first time wearing them. The colors are bright and the fluffy fabric is soft, but it wasn't a win.
