First the QC problems - two of the holes in the aluminum tubing were not fully punched - maybe 80%. I had to snap them out with needle-nose pliers. Then the foam padding was sticking off one end of all the tubes by a couple of inches. This made getting the bolts in place more difficult.Other difficulties - the instructions need a lot of work. Do the angled tubes on the sides point out, up or down? It warns to be sure to use the lock washers - there are no lock washers, but there are nylock bolts. The straps and ropes together are LONG. I needed to wrap the straps around the tree branch twice. The ropes alone were not long enough for the branch I wanted to use. I'll probably replace the straps with chains. The tubes have narrow and wide ends. Check your alignment before putting into the swing.Assembly time was about 30 minutes and the only tool you need is included. It's a lot of fun and relaxing. If you use two attachment points it rocks head to toe only. With one attachment point it can go in any direction and spin. So you need to decide before hanging - is it a relaxing hammock/swing, or a spinning ride for the kids.
