I needed some flow to my planted tank to ensure CO2 distribution. It's a good little pump - I have it in a ten gallon tank. It comes with two nozzles so you can adjust the pressure of the water that comes out. I use it on high settings and it's smooth, steady stream. CONS: Suction cups are junk. My Oto cats can push it! I had to readjust my position several times. And I don't know if that's a plus or a minus, but every few seconds it spits out a veil of air bubbles. Cheap and still works. All my plants are growing well.
