I wore this half marathon over my favorite running shorts. I was afraid it would scratch my arms or legs or leave marks on my thighs when running, but it was great! I wear shorts in a small size but this skirt fits well and doesn't ride up or down. As others have said, it had a slight smell at first, but I aired it out on my back porch for just a few days and it was gone. And even after 21 km in wet conditions, this backpack still had a great fluffy shape.
