I have a collection of curlers, brushes and flat irons and this one works wonders for fine hair. I've never managed to get the waves right with a straight iron. Although I have to twist it a bit in the direction I want my hair to be, it frizzes! My hair seems to have a lot more volume with curls than when I just blow dry and style my hair. I was worried that this wouldn't regulate the temperature to the right level and shut down completely as other reviews have mentioned, but that wasn't the case. The iron has buttons that need to be flipped up or down, so either have it fully closed or not. The low setting of 300 was perfect and didn't break my high and it can go as high as 450 degrees. The price was good compared to other brands and the result you get in the end. It's worth a try.
