First let me say that my cat weighs 5 pounds. I bought this cat transporter to take my cat to for repairs. The inside wasn't as soft and comfortable as I had hoped, but still not bad - I just covered the bottom with a cozy blanket. I put the cat in, grabbed the handles of the car and drove off. When I got to the vet, I fastened my shoulder belt and got out of the car. However, when I got out of the car and went to the trunk of my car, the entire strap snapped and my cat fell to the ground like a rock. Thank goodness it happened before the surgery, not after.
