For the money, a superb full-time zoom that is sharp throughout the entire field at an open aperture is so well-liked that it is even acceptable to write carelessly about its advantages. To speak more about the drawbacks: When viewed at 24mm, distortion is off-scale, passable at 35mm, and once more at 50mm, but the corners already exhibit negative distortion, which becomes worse as you get closer to 105. It is a little soft at 105; the ringing begins around 5.6. Considering my experience, I believe the 24-105mm 5.6L designation would be more accurate. Despite this, the stabilizer is excellent, and the auto focus is incredibly quick and precise. Until I viewed images taken with a 24-70 2.8L lens, the drawing did not initially fill me with joy. If there are an additional $10–15,000, it is preferable to overpay for aperture ratio, reduced distortion, and a functional 2.8. If you don't have these 10–15,000, it gets easier over time to purchase a quick cure, like you did. The rest can be fixed in well-known photo editors, but the whole frame is actually quite the expected result and won't let you down in tough situations.
