Review on 🐠 Odyssea Clean 100 Internal Surface Skimmer Aquarium Filter 450L for Plant Tanks by Tracy Robinson

After two weeks of use the skimmer is working as advertised. It cleans the surface very effectively and probably pumps 100 gph without a sprayer. It works right out of the box and the floating part easily matches the waterline. It has 2 mounts: 1 for my rimless tank and one for the traditional tank. I connected and searched in less than 5 minutes. I finally found it by dropping the fish food and watching it take off. I don't think it's important, but sometimes I can be anal. It is larger than it appears in the photos in the box and on the website. I'd also say it's unsightly in a tank, but I've looked into that. I ended up abandoning the atomizer and adding a directional flow from another filter. The atomizer reduces the flow significantly, but I don't think that's a problem. I also removed a filter pad and used filament because it's easier to remove and clean. As I said, he removes fish food. I just connected to the Alexa plug and disconnected when feeding. Not strictly necessary, but I had butts. The only problem I have is that the fish jumped into the filter chamber 3 times and died 1 time. However, this is not the fault of the filter. For the price it works very well. May not be suitable for small aquariums due to high discharge. Eats small fish.
