I bought this after getting frustrated with my mediocre standard hole punch which kept getting stuck after punching a hole causing my hand pain. This one meets all my expectations: the construction is made of die-cast metal and is very durable; It's small enough to fit in my hand and curved nicely so it doesn't feel uncomfortable. It cuts through the hole smoothly and effortlessly without sticking. I could cut holes in four pieces of cardboard at once and could probably do more, but I haven't tried. I love that it has a removable lid so you can catch holes, but the lid can be removed so you can see clearly where you will make the hole if you use the hole punch upside down. I had to punch holes in certain places, so that's how I did it. One way to improve the product would be to make a removable lid out of clear plastic so we can leave it on and still see where the hole is being punched. In this way we can also absorb blows if we use it upside down.
