Review on πŸš€ Enhanced Performance Transfer Case Shift Encoder Motor – Unleashing Seamless Shifting Experience by Charles Quinones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fixed: My Service 4WD warning

This fits my 2003 Silverado Z71 exactly. I was having trouble with the 4x4 button backlight indicating it was in 4th low or neutral when I started the car when it was actually in 2nd hi. After some research, it turned out that most likely the servomotor in the transfer case motor is defective, causing it to lose its position. I haven't had any problems since I replaced it with a new one. I was able to install this without removing the front driveshaft, it was a little tiring but there was enough room to remove the bolts. The transfer case motor is in neutral, so either use the knobs to put your truck in neutral (if you can) or you may need to raise the rear axle so you can manually shift it once your old motor is removed.
