A bad engine that didn't work or didn't work at all.

Looked good and arrived on time but the motor didn't work. Nothing. No sound after connection. I connected it to get the mechanism in the right position. This new gear was 180 degrees from the old one. There is no way to engage the transmission at the transfer case to match this even setup. The engine is bad. I will ask for my money back but now I am desperate and need it now. I'll have to spend twice as much money at the local store. Thanks but no. Hit and miss.

bolted straight to my 06 Vortec Max

It's only been on sale for a week but I've had it on and off 4 wheels 15 times with no problems. This part can be replaced without dropping the front driveshaft but if I ever have to do it again I will remove it, it was more hassle than replacing the front driveshaft which is still internal. After you install the battery and put it in negative, you need to put your truck in neutral to allow the encoder to engage and shift through the 4 wheel setup. Overall this seems like a good product at a…

Fixed: My Service 4WD warning

This fits my 2003 Silverado Z71 exactly. I was having trouble with the 4x4 button backlight indicating it was in 4th low or neutral when I started the car when it was actually in 2nd hi. After some research, it turned out that most likely the servomotor in the transfer case motor is defective, causing it to lose its position. I haven't had any problems since I replaced it with a new one. I was able to install this without removing the front driveshaft, it was a little tiring but there was…

Works on a 2004 Silverado

Installed on my Silverado 04. The electrical connector was a snug fit, the screw was easy to tighten. The difficulty was that these engines were in neutral, which is perfectly normal. My problem was that I was replacing a weak motor. When I put it in neutral before removing it, the splines didn't quite line up. It was difficult, but I marked the splines on the new motor with a marker and was able to line up the shaft on the transfer case. After fiddling with the alignment for about 15 minutes…

Problem solved, working, good customer service.

The issue I had was resolved with satisfactory customer service and a new part was shipped within two business days. The part arrived and I installed it with no problems, it booted and works as it should. Support has tried to fix it and while they aren't rocket scientists, neither am I, and the part that failed is hard to solve as you're wondering if it's getting power etc. Now I have a FWD. For those doing this on a 2004 Suburban, you CAN do this without lowering the driveshaft by turning the…

Easy to Use, Fits Aftermarket

The product fits perfectly. Fast delivery, within 48 hours! Delivery in neutral position. Remove the front drive. Makes everything very accessible. Install the rubber stopper that holds the electrical connection. The new one has the new connection. Make sure your car is idling! Let me repeat: make sure you put the transfer case in neutral. Red light on switch 4. Put your rig in neutral while driving. Simultaneously press the 2wd and 4wd low buttons for about 10 seconds. The red light comes on…

2003 GMC Sierra Denali 1500

The best price I could find for my truck. I've started getting the Service 4WD message on my DIC. Then I would start my truck and find that it was in one of the 4WD modes. Checked the fuses and relays, tried the new dash switch, cleaned the floor under the driver's door, changed the gear oil in the front diff, replaced the actuator in the front diff. It was the last piece of the puzzle and she solved it. Do yourself a favor and remove the front driveshaft before starting the transfer case…

VERY IMPORTANT Do not connect or test prior to installation

You MUST install this on the transfer case before plugging it in and powering on. All other similar products have a warning label that says "Do not turn on power until installed", although a YouTube video says so. no label and I attached it. I then had to disconnect the battery and reset the module as it was causing a lot of errors. You MUST place the truck in neutral and have one rear wheel off the ground to rotate the rear driveshaft. this allows play to turn the transfer case selector…
