Review on πŸš€ Enhanced Performance Transfer Case Shift Encoder Motor – Unleashing Seamless Shifting Experience by Justin Sherman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works on a 2004 Silverado

Installed on my Silverado 04. The electrical connector was a snug fit, the screw was easy to tighten. The difficulty was that these engines were in neutral, which is perfectly normal. My problem was that I was replacing a weak motor. When I put it in neutral before removing it, the splines didn't quite line up. It was difficult, but I marked the splines on the new motor with a marker and was able to line up the shaft on the transfer case. After fiddling with the alignment for about 15 minutes, it finally matched perfectly. Gasket changed, plugged in and everything works as it should. At the moment about 2000km driven, there were no problems. Everything shifts as it should in all modes, 2 wheels, 4 HI, 4 LO. If I have problems with that, I will revise the rating.
