I was looking for a small flexible light that would produce really bright LED light and not the dim, soft light that most of these lights give off. This light is bright even on a low setting. This is exactly what I was looking for as I'm sitting in a fairly dark room and when I need to see small text or detailed things I need bright flashlight illumination to see it. The flexible stem, about a foot long, bends easily and holds the bend in place. The only downside is that the clip is plastic and can come loose if you push the lamp too hard when moving it, but it does the job well enough as the lamp is very light.
