I originally bought this monitor to replace the setup I originally had. I've had it for over a year now and haven't had any problems. The only thing I do NOT like about this monitor is that it keeps freezing at a 60Hz refresh rate despite being advertised as a 75Hz monitor. It doesn't matter much as I have other 75Hz monitors and personally I can't tell any difference between 60 and 75Hz. I've never used the stand so I can't comment on its build quality; If the monitor has VESA and you don't have too little space, you should always use it in my opinion. tl; dr Good build quality, good picture. Still works well after a year of use for more than 8 hours a day. NOT 75Hz as advertised, there are VERY few controls in the monitor menu and half the options can't really be selected. The VESA setup was a bit trickier than usual
