These filter discs are great for filtering my tea. Sixteen bags per liter of water (to make 1 gallon) goes through without clogging, but I put pressure on the liquid to force it through. I found it necessary to make a metal ring that sits on top of the filter disc to hold it during filling and filtering, otherwise the disc would float and ruin the process. The liquid alone does not hold the paper. I use a 120mm ID filter funnel so the 110mm discs need to be eye centered and weighted. A 1 liter Erlenmeyer flask works well with a filter funnel. The brewed tea contained a lot of solid particles and it became uncomfortable.
