Works very well but there are a few tricks I've learned from using it. - The red (high) setting can keep your drink at half temperature, but will be much hotter when the contents are less than half. - The blue (low) setting is good when your drink is at its hottest. A constant temperature is maintained. I also use this setting when the cup is about 1/4 full. (A high setting is too much at this level). It works 100% if you know the tricks, but if you don't want to customize it to your liking, I understand why you might not like it. I have a feeling you won't find anything that makes your drink perfect without manual adjustments. Additional Notes: - Cable could be longer. It's not too short for me, but it can be a little annoying if you have a specific place you want it and the outlet is a bit far. - I like the automatic shutdown. I will never forget to turn these things off so I don't leave them on all day/night.
