I broke my hario when coffee spilled on it so I went for something cheaper. I had high hopes for this scale, but unfortunately it has some accuracy and consistency issues. It's minor, but enough to make me wish I'd spent the extra dough on something else. One problem is that the weight doesn't exactly adjust as you add things - it tends to stay at its current reading and then jump up a few tenths of a gram at a time, making accurate measurements difficult. Another problem is uneven weight. It shows different readings (sometimes by half a gram) for stable objects (like a 10-gram weight) — not just in different areas of the scale, but when they're simply lifted and placed back in the same spot. If the original packaging hadn't been accidentally thrown away I would have sent it back. I hope others have better luck with the scale!
