Tilt Mechanism Broke
About the 6th trip to the beach the tilt mechanism broke and the umbrella flops over to the maximum tilt angle. It won't stand up straight. I put a heavy duty hose clamp on the pole so I can slide the clamp up the pole and keep the umbrella from tilting. I have to bring along a screw driver to tighten the clamp. The umbrella won't collapse with the hose clamp tightened in place. Other than that it's seems a pretty good umbrella.
