Great solution: Remote Controls
We recently built an extension to our home and it was a good decision to add a 3 or 4 position switch without all the wiring. Just add a remote control to any Lutron Caseta Smart Switcher and you're in business. It even looks like another switch. It comes with a bracket that mounts to the junction box. Works with an app and can be controlled from anywhere, even on the go. I bought a few of these and use them as 4 way switches in the office. It's compatible with Alexa and Google Home, but I only use the app.
