I've tried almost everything to get the correct motion detection. He didn't use UPS, USPS, or Fed Ex to save my life, but he always filmed me going in and out the front door. Direct motion detection caught anything moving with the wind, even small insects flying by. It didn't matter if it was day or night. I tried the "People only, all motion" setting with the maximum sensitivity setting, but it still didn't detect any delivery on my porch. Desperate and on the verge of sending it back, I tried the last combination of settings. I set the sensitivity to high (5), all movements, and then set the activity zone to match my steps. valla It worked and continues to work flawlessly. However, it does intercept everything like cars driving by, checking neighbors for mail, etc., but I can handle it. So moral of the story, the setup can be challenging, but the end result is good.
