Where I live evaporative cooling doesn't work, making the situation even worse due to high humidity. When I ordered I expected the phase change gel to be similar to the phase change gel in pet cooling pads, but it is not. Ice packs are nothing more than ice packs, which technically represent a "transition from solid to liquid ice". I wear a 2x shirt and the vest fits like XL. If I had known that "Phase Change" packs were nothing more than ice packs, I would have ordered one of the cheaper (and more specifically described) ice pack-only vests.
