Review on πŸ’ͺ Pneumatic nickel plated straight connect fittings: Efficient, reliable solution by Doug Virden

You work after all. with enough stamina.

Newly installed airbags and dual fill path to compressor. I received the sensor and switches separately so needed tees to connect everything. Never use a T-piece or connect two airbags together when driving around a long turn or driving off-road, you may tip over. Air from the bag on the side outside the corner is pushed into the inner bag, causing the outside to sag and the inside to rise. Definitely not smart! Be sure to click the fittings after installing Everything I Hate as they are prone to leaking if you don't have a perfect 1/4 inch hose. Also then measure the depth and mark the tube with a pencil and put a drop of oil on the outside and PUSH FIRMLY until fully seated. And then spray some soapy water and hope it doesn't spill! If this happens, press a 5/16" wrench on the collar, pull the hose out and find an undamaged perfect hose and try again. I spent quite a bit of time checking for small leaks until the airbags could withstand 100psi (maximum for pillows) overnight without dripping.

Pros
  • Thinking about changing the direction of the pipe after installation? .Relax. You can easily change the direction of the pipe connector even after installation. Release ring is elliptical to ensure release assembly works
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly
