Need better quality control

One of the blanks I received had a large split in the middle of the spoon end. Carved it anyway, but this one is completely useless. Wish someone had checked these before shipping because it was easy to see from the outside.The wood was soft and fun to carve for a beginner. Would have been better if they were quality checked before shipping.

One of the 3 spoons was cracked/split already. I suggest passing on this and purchasing from another vendor.
