I owned TicWris Max for over a month before I sold it. Then I bought the Max S. In this test report, the similarities between both models as well as the differences are considered. Both models are unique in that they run the Android operating system. In addition to the smartwatch interface that both models have, you can also install apps from the Google Play Store that will allow you to change the look. I personally use the Square Home Launcher. Here is a summary of the pros and cons of each watch: Pros: 1. Fits comfortably on the wrist despite its size. Can be worn all day. Max S, a little smaller, a little more comfortable.2. The ability to run many applications from the Google Play Store. The most important thing is to launch a launcher that can completely change the device UI.3. A good battery life is about 2 days with normal usage for the Max. About 1 day for Max S. Both will charge in about 2 hours.4. With a SIM card (I run T-Mobile) it can make calls, send texts and do everything a cell phone can do. Has WiFi, Bluetooth and USB connection.6. Wearing it on your wrist as a cellphone frees both hands and eliminates the need to carry a large cellphone around. Disadvantages: 1. The small screen (compared to a mobile phone) makes it difficult to view many applications. Also, apps must run in landscape mode. It's time-consuming to find apps on the Play Store that work in landscape mode and that also allow you to increase the font size. It should be noted that the smaller screen size of the Max S makes some applications difficult to read.2. The smartwatch's fitness functions are limited to steps and heart rate. The device cannot read blood pressure, oxygen level and temperature.3. The standard interface that comes with the device is similar to that of smartwatches - the problem is that the applications installed on the watch appear as a lot of icons that are not sorted in any particular order. That's why it's important to get the launcher from Play Store.4. When working under the smartwatch interface, a very large number of free watchfaces are available. Screen brightness could be better. Indoors no problem, but outdoors is a different matter.6. Although it can connect to your cell phone via Bluetooth, you can't make calls or send text messages. You need a SIM card for this. These devices are not for everyone. They will not work well for an active mobile phone user. For me, however, it's perfect. The occasional texting, emailing, and calling I make and receive makes this convenient with the benefit of always having my phone with me. The attached photos show different views of Max. The first 3 are from the standard interface. The second 3 use the Square Home Launcher. Notice how you can display calendar and weather widgets. As mentioned in the beginning I had the Max and then sold it to get the Max S. After using the Max S for a few days, I'm returning it and buying another Max. The Max S's screen is too small for my eyes. I also miss Max's longer battery life. The Max S comes with an extra camera, which the Max doesn't have, and the Max is missing a few extra watch faces. Overall, both models are solid choices if you're looking for a smartwatch that offers more customization options than anything else on the market. .
