Revainrating 5 out of 5

They are never what they should be

Firstly, the product delivered was wrong! Should have been i5, 16 GB memory, new SSD 240, WLAN. received i7, memory 8 gigs, SSD for 240 gigs, without wifi ………………. You say it's not that bad, I thought so too at first. Then I thought it was more important to me....both 16GB of storage and WiFi. So 240 SSD was great, I would also agree with i5, I can live with i7, no problem of course. Windows 10 pro / with a digital license is pre-installed, it was not said. However, it's really easy to install, but takes hours of updates, I mean hours. Windows works fine. The paper that came with the device gave the wrong email address for customer service, used a phone number instead, spoke to someone somewhere in Asia, barely heard them and couldn't understand broken English either, after many tries finally found someone, which I could understand, a huge effort. Explained storage and wifi problem, had to take photo of computer, got new email address and send photos to prove only 8 gigabytes installed, asked to send another 8 gigabytes of storage as well as a wifi key , as this is all her fault and please send it for the night so I can move on. That happened? No of course not. After a long time of doing too much, back and for the 4th time they finally agreed to send more storage and wifi dongle and certainly not overnight so I'm waiting another week to fix their error. Having said all that, I would say that the CS department. leaves a lot to be desired. I will say the unit arrived in good condition and was clean inside and out and looked like a new computer. It's fast, quiet and well packaged. Keyboard and mouse were broken but worked. If the memory and wi-fi key are there and working then I'm a little happier, the built-in wi-fi that's missing leaves me indifferent to that mechanic who sent the wrong device in the first place. They tried to make amends, I'll give it to them, but in the end it's not a good way to do business. Get what you paid for, go the other way......make your own!
