I don't have a specific time, thought I'd write a review when I'm done, plan tomorrow to replace. I want to say that this happened about 2.5-3 years before the boots failed. As far as I know it's not making any noise yet, although it has some physical play and since both boots have been spewing grease for quite some time I'll just replace it with another one. I wish the boots were better rubber or just lasted a little longer. Overall not terrible, not great. From personal experience, rebuilt axles were worse, so considering the price new and avoiding a major cost, I think it's worth it. Total life was about 4 years, about 60-70,000 miles in the Buick Lesabre.
