This coating is a great and VERY easy to install option if you want to prevent cold air from entering through your window air conditioner. Definitely easier than covering the entire window with plastic to block all airflow, especially if you have pets (especially cats) who will most likely tear a hole in the film trying to get in or out of the air conditioner. Make sure you measure the height, width and depth to ensure you get the correct size. Some of these covers match in height and width but are too small and barely cover the front of the device and threaten to pop off at the slightest touch. But if you're the right size, they're easy to put on and don't look terrible at all. You know, a much nicer option than sticking a blanket and a plastic bag on top.
