Suffocating smell of poison!
What I was thinking when I bought a pesticide mattress topper! That thing stinks! The instructions say to air 24 - 48 hours. Still smells just as bad as it did when I first removed the Suran packaging. I'll never feel safe sleeping on that thing even if it stops smelling like poison. Update: After 10 days in my garage with a large fan blowing on them, the smell is almost gone. Slept on it last night (with a 3/4 cotton swab over it). It was comfortable and the smell didn't bother me. I think that the smell can be unpleasant for some people and not for others. I could not bear it. My wife didn't mind.
