Install the loom correctly. My 7 year old daughter loves them. She started out making the patterns pictured but now loves to make her own patterns. Good for pattern recognition/math. But also creativity - choose colors and order and see what happens. As a parent, I love this "art" that's used and doesn't leave a mess! The perfect birthday gift!
