Review on 🔍 Vacmaster VDK611PF 0201 6-Gallon Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum with Advanced Filter Cleaning System by Sheryl Lockwood

I bought this for my small carpentry shop and was attracted by the powerful motor and quiet operation. While a short, cheap, stiff hose and flimsy nozzles are a problem, as is a broken cord tensioner, the stupidity of using a non-universal 1-1/4 hose more than reduces suction power compared to an old portable battery the half. Dirt Devil Standard 2-1/4 steerable hose cannot be attached! I found a workaround so I can use decent diameter hose or standard 2-1/4 nozzles (see photo). I disassembled the coupler and found that a typical 2-1/4 inch barrel joint fits snugly inside. Then I can connect the standard hoses. The company has no customer support, email address or phone number. While I love its compact size and fairly powerful engine, what other crazy design feature do I have to discover? Stay away.
