I needed E12 bulbs when the old bulbs in my ceiling fan died. We have a wireless remote switch on the wall that we bought separately to control the fan and the dimmable lights, so I've always thought about how to at least make the lights "smart". When I discovered that they make E12 candelabra style smart bulbs I was excited and wanted to try them. I like that they're LED so I know they draw less power and theoretically should last longer. I found out that I don't have to do without brightness. The packaging says it's equivalent to 45 watts and because my fan has a piece of frosted glass over the lamps we had problems with the brightness in the bedroom. If you put these bulbs in white, the brightness is excellent. Other colors are good and put you in a good mood, but white is by far the brightest. I like to turn the bulbs to amber or dim them a bit at night. Connecting to my Google Home was a breeze. I've already used the Smartlife app for many other switches and other things in my house, so I just followed the instructions when screwing in the bulbs. I had to pull the fan power cord three times, after which the lights started blinking and went out. From there I was able to connect the bulbs in Smartlife to my 2.4GHz WiFi network. It should be noted that these lamps remain "on the network" only when the light switch itself is turned on. That means you have to pull the fan's light cord or lift the wall switch, and you can turn them on/off or otherwise control them with the app or voice. The switches I have still work to turn them on and off like dumb lightbulbs, but then the smart part of it doesn't work. Until I turn the switch back on. I love being able to connect them to Google Home and include them in my routines. I have arranged. Since I have 3 bulbs in 1 lamp, each bulb can be controlled separately. I can turn 1 lightbulb on and the rest off or 1 blue lightbulb and the rest green etc. I can also group them in the Smartlife and Google Home apps to easily manage them together. The only thing that worries me is that they turn off. when the light switch is off. but it makes sense, and it's not the end of the world, in which case the bulbs still work by hand. Definitely recommend everyone to replace those stock E12 ceiling fan bulbs. Regular LEDs are much cheaper and you can make your ceiling fan smart.
