As mentioned, you have to toggle the lights on and off a few times to get them into pairing mode. This was not mentioned in the instructions. Works quite well, I put three bulbs in the overhead light. I set it up in the recommended Smart Life app (pretty easy) and then linked it to my Google Home. They work fairly well for normal switching on and off, but sometimes one of the three lags or stutters. So when I tell Google to turn off the light, two of the three go off and then sometimes the third after a few seconds, sometimes I have to ask twice. I needed E12 bulbs when the old bulbs in my ceiling fan died. We have a wireless remote switch on the wall that we bought separately to control the fan and the dimmable lights, so I've always thought about how to at least make the lights "smart". When I discovered that they make E12 candelabra style smart bulbs I was excited and wanted to try them. I like that they're LED so I know they draw less power and theoretically should last longer.
