Poor quality pump, best in sport

Where I bought it, many people mentioned the time it takes to fill the SUP, so I bought a cheap AIRHEAD air pump. This will inflate the SUP to about 0.9psi. I then hook up a Seamax pump to achieve pressures of up to 15psi. This strategy works well. My problems: Seamax is loud. It takes about 15 minutes to boost the SUP from 0.9 to 15psi which is expected. But you need earplugs or just walk away while it works. The rubber pads on the bottom of the pump will make your SUP dirty. Do not install this on your SUP or you will end up with 4 suction cup points on your SUP. Poor quality pump. It worked fine the first 2 times I used it. 2 SUPs filled the same day and not used for about 4 weeks. I kept it in my garage at the time. The next time I tried to use the pump it wouldn't spin. That day I inflated the SUP manually. A few days later I tried the pump again and it still wouldn't turn the pump. I heard the electric motor running but the pump got stuck. I blew air back into the pump with my lungs. This moved the piston enough for the electric motor to move it and keep it moving. So now I have to suck on the pump a little bit every time I want to use it. This requires a high boost 12V connection. I blew a fuse on my boat and had to make an adapter to connect the battery directly. All in all, I cannot recommend this pump. I will buy an adapter for a Schrader valve (bike tire) and use an automatic pump to inflate car tires.
