Red paint bleeds profusely!
I've seen reviews mentioning this but thought I should run them in the washing machine - on the hardest, hardest setting, with bleach (I know you don't bleach them, but. ) and steam ( my washing machine has a steam disinfection function). Oh, and I soaked them in detergent and bleach overnight first. But no fabric softener. When I washed a car with it for the first time, the bucket immediately turned red from the spilled paint! Now they end up in the trash can. I learned MY lesson - buy white rags! In addition, they actually shed the villi - there are a lot of them.
