I spent time setting it up. I used stainless hardware to tie the antenna post to the chimney. I installed this antenna and carefully routed the coax cable to the TV. I tried turning it with the remote, if I wasn't within 5ft of the controller it didn't work. When he worked, he moved erratically. either moved or not. Left or right means nothing, counterclockwise moves no matter which button I pressed if it moved at all. I've been trying to get a picture on TV for 2 hours. It never worked. I spoke to tech support, they confirmed that the device is defective. I asked them to test the new block before shipping. Got a new one and set it up temporarily. The block didn't rotate. I aligned it manually and got a great picture. I then attached the 40 year old antenna to the rafters of my garage and left it on the rafters along with everything else. things and got the same picture. I live less than 20 miles from downtown Chicago. I wanted the rotating antenna to pick up Joylet, Gary, and Rockford stations. This entity is not alone. It couldn't even come close to matching the description in the insert. I would not recommend it at all!
