Review on πŸ‘• DAVID ARCHY Men's Thermal Underwear Set - Soft Brushed Base Layer Pants and Top for Quick Drying Long Johns by Jay Kenville

Four problem areas, including too short back

SHORT VERSION: too short back; the fabric is not soft and not elastic; leg cuffs are too tight; and the legs are too short. I emailed David Archie (hereafter "DA”) to tell them to stop making their awesome light gray long bottoms (I have several pairs). In cold weather I wear them around the house to keep the thermostat down. DA replied that these pants replaced my favorite pants, which were no longer made. I bought two double packs (black, XL) following their recommendation. I washed them on cold wash and cold rinse. After 2-4 minutes in a gas dryer, they were hung to air dry. Pre-drying for a few minutes removes wrinkles. There are four problems how they fit. I don't understand why the other two styles of DA Long underwear fit me well and these new ones don't. PROBLEM #1) They're too short at the back. Every time I sit down, they stab me in the back. I always try to pull them up from behind but they don't lift at all. This problem is common with inferior men's underwear such as Hanes. Although they can be considered "low", the front end rises quite a bit and it looks terrible because the rear end is so low. Disappointing and uncomfortable. PROBLEM #2) The legs are too short. Again, the other two styles of DA briefs I own are listed by length (could be longer, but still fine). I'm a little over 1.80m tall. PROBLEM #3) The leg cuffs are not stretched enough and are therefore too tight. Other DA pants I own have leg cuffs that can be pulled up to the knees if needed (I have skinny legs below the knees). They cannot be tightened at all QUESTION #4) In general, the material lacks elasticity and is not soft. I don't understand why the DA replaced a fantastic product with a bad one. DA: Please reconsider these pants or bring back the gray ones you no longer make as they were perfect. Thank you for reading my review.
