Review on Honda 54421 VL0 L00 GRIP PAD Made by Durioki Cordaro

Item came in an unsealed OPEN original Honda bag (it literally fell on the floor when I took the bag out of the box) but is not an exact OEM fit. In fact, it looks like it was cut out of fabric by a 6-year-old with scissors. It is slightly longer than the original piece and much narrower at the thin end. Does anyone know who replaces one of these, it needs to sit in a recessed grip - it needs to be cut to length and there will be a significant gap (think 1/3) in the grip at the short end to let in dirt/debris leading to a can lead to premature wear of the adhesive. I'm not sure I'll keep it to be honest.
