Gave this to a 6 year old for his birthday and he loves it. We live in California and the weather has already warmed up. I find that elastic backed sandals are generally best for young children for walking etc. If your kid is like mine and lives in sandals these are a great choice - they have decent padding and come in cute colors and prints - we pick a shark. this
