These are my favorite paring knives. I use one with a 50+ year old stainless steel handle that my mother-in-law gave me for my first wedding. Dishwashers and handles are not the same. The grips hold but feel grainy. The resin handles hold up well in the dishwasher and I've just ordered a few new ones, effectively throwing away my old stainless steel handled knives. You can't go wrong with this. They sharpen very well. I have a Rada sharpener - a handy little tool. Don't make the mistake of ordering serrated paring knives when you want plain knives. These are two completely different tools in the kitchen. Enjoy!
