Very sharp paring knife

RADA is a great value for money brand of knives. I love them and have several varieties. They're lightweight and stay sharp. I also have a set of <utco knives that I paid an astronomical amount for RADA, which are always my favorite knives because they are so much sharper!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I won't say anything

I've been using Rada since the mid seventies

As the title says I love these knives. I especially like the black handle models they have started making. I put mine in the dishwasher and my husband sharpens them when needed. As a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, we sold these knives to raise money for our unit. That's how I started using them. Love her and you will too.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Almost never

Great knives from the USA!

These knives are perfect! Razor-sharp, easy and clean peels potatoes, cucumbers, aubergines - whatever needs to be peeled! Lightweight and durable. I have ordered Rada knives before and will continue to do so. They simply cannot be defeated. Far superior to my other (more expensive) paring knives. I also love the fact that they are made in the USA!

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Fantastic value for money, best paring knife

Love this sharp little knife! I have small hands, so this lightweight, narrow blade knife is perfect for peeling fruit and vegetables. Ideal for peeling kiwis and small mangoes Autufo. Very maneuverable and to get a two pack at this price is amazing! I sometimes take fruit to work, so I took one of these little knives to work. I still have one in my knife holder.

Pros
  • Solid workmanship
Cons
  • Clean

doesn't stay sharp

bought 4 of these because I use paring knives a lot and had old ones that were a bit worn on the handles and had been sharpened many times. After using these knives for a few months I have found that they get quite dull and the problem with this type of blade is that they don't like to be sharpened. I sharpened one and it became uneven instead of smooth. The price is right but I don't want to buy paring knives every 6 months when my previous set (now with 2 left) lasted over 15 years.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Long delivery time

My favorite paring knives

These are my favorite paring knives. I use one with a 50+ year old stainless steel handle that my mother-in-law gave me for my first wedding. Dishwashers and handles are not the same. The grips hold but feel grainy. The resin handles hold up well in the dishwasher and I've just ordered a few new ones, effectively throwing away my old stainless steel handled knives. You can't go wrong with this. They sharpen very well. I have a Rada sharpener - a handy little tool. Don't make the mistake of…

I had to write this review to let everyone know how great these paring knives are. I have many knives of all sizes and I keep reaching for these little knives to cut just about anything. I sliced a tomato very thin today and it did a great job and a hard crusty Italian bread sandwich was great too. I can't say enough good things about these knives so I decided to buy another set to save money. You will not regret this purchase but be very careful as they are very sharp. I need to know that I…

High quality product at a very reasonable price.

As a long-time Rada Cutlery fan, I'm always adding new knives to their line. I gave a lot of presents and decorated my granddaughter in a variety of ways in her new apartment. Paring knives are a staple in my kitchen, the blades are thin, the knife is small enough to chop fruit and veg with minimal effort. They are very durable, in fact I have a pair my mum gave me over 25 years ago. I have never had a single break or detachment of the handle. I've put these knives in the dishwasher before and…

Great paring knives, budget or not

These are good quality knives, just like every other Rada knife I've had. I bought these to replace the paring knives I lost (I forgot to pick them up from my last job). This pair had polished aluminum buttons, so this time I decided to try these black SS buttons. As with my other Rada knives, they work very well. Although the blades aren't thick, the steel is of good quality and will last longer than most other brand paring knives I've dealt with. I clean these knives after each use; In just a
