Review on πŸ”¦ DODOFUN T5 37 74 LED Bulb Pack of 10 - White, Twist Lock Socket, PC74 PC37 Dashboard Instrument Panel Gauge Cluster Light by Mike Bigglesworth

Brighter than factory lamps! Look very nice!

The factory bulbs have always been a little weak (City and Country 2005) and over time some of them have burned out making the displays difficult to read. They are brighter than the original bulbs and thanks to the two LEDs on the sides, the light is fairly even. Yes, if you look closely there are a few "hotspots" where the light is a bit brighter, but it's nothing you'll really notice unless you're looking. (Some LED assemblies only have one LED on top, and I don't think they'll work that well in this application.) A bit tricky to fit into the sockets, but no worse than factory incandescent bulbs, really. I was able to remove the dash, take out the old lightbulbs, put them in the sockets, install and replace the group in about an hour. I wish I had done this a few years ago now. Some people report that they don't dim very well, but mine dim smoothly despite being at least about twice as bright as the factory bulbs that nearly blew. But I dim the instrument lights so infrequently that I don't think it will make a difference.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Transparency
