later I should preface this by saying I have a lot of Zeus products. This is my favorite beard care company, I didn't like this balm. It's thick enough to hold in place, but not strong enough to fight against the natural shape of my beard (which is a slight wave or curl in places. It just set my beard into stiff shape, the hair was already there i would not use it again if you are looking for something to control your beard (say at a wedding which i used it for) you will need to look elsewhere if your beard is very short might this work.
