I own the same pair of 3m sunglasses for work for 3 years now, I've dropped them, stepped on them, thrown them, and they're barely scratched. So you can't go wrong with 3M durability.But when I thought I lost them I purchased these.These are fine except one big draw back, I have a slightly bigger head (size 8 hat size) and after about a hour of wearing they just dig into my temples and become painful.I think sunglasses should be bought locally anyways so you can try them on, I should had just ran to Home Depot (which is where i got my previous set)But if you need durable sunglasses with type 1 eye protection, stick to 3M, just not this model if you have a big head.
